Seeking applicants who generally live in this circled area
A five-week program for a select group of neighborhood participants to learn more about the Charlotte Corridor Rail-with-Greenway, followed by an input-gathering period led by participants
Deadline to apply: Sunday, October 4!
Five sessions will take place on Tuesday evenings -- October 13, October 20, October 27, November 3, and November 10 -- always 5:30-7:30pm and always with food provided, at a pending neighborhood location(s).
All selected Connectors will be provided with a small stipend ($500 total) following their successful participation in the sessions, and their successful completion of the input-gathering process. This stipend is intended to honor participants’ time and expertise, and help cover any childcare and/or transportation costs that may be incurred.
Attend all 5 meetings (1 absence is permissible, if necessary – but full participation strongly encouraged)
Stay open-minded, respectful of fellow neighbors’ opinions
Co-develop short survey through the meetings
Commit to gathering neighbors’ input by getting survey responses (following the 5 sessions)
Stipends (digital Visa gift cards) will be awarded following participants’ successful participation. The stipend is intended to honor participants’ time and expertise, and to help cover any childcare and/or transportation costs that may be incurred.
Optional, but strongly encouraged, participation in a post-survey neighborhood report-out and celebration event
Greenways for Nashville is seeking a small group that can be as representative as possible of the Clifton Avenue neighborhood at large: diversity in age, race, and length of time lived in the neighborhood will all be important factors
We seek a balanced representation of opinion about the greenway project
Sessions are on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7:30pm, from Oct 13-Nov 10
The Charlotte Corridor Rail-with-Greenway is a long-term project, but with next steps picking back up within the Metro Parks department. Getting neighbors’ input early on will help inform the project as much as possible, and will allow the neighborhood time to prepare.
Opportunity for community members to connect with one another
For community input and guidance on the greenway project
Future cohorts will focus on other future greenways projects, or be representative of all current greenways segments. If you are interested in future cohorts, but don't live in North Nashville for this next fall 2026 cohort, add your interest here and we'll be in touch about upcoming opportunities.
